We’re here to walk alongside you.
Growing up isn’t easy—and young people often carry more than they let on.
We offer age-appropriate counselling for children and teens aged 10+, providing a safe space where they can express what they’re feeling, develop emotional awareness, and build confidence in who they are. We work at their pace, using creative or talk-based approaches depending on their needs.
Support now can make a lasting difference.
EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy for processing trauma, distressing memories, or deeply held emotional blocks.
It helps reduce the intensity of past experiences so they feel less overwhelming in the present. EMDR doesn’t require you to go into every detail of your story—and many people find it gentler than they expect.
Welcome, I'm Roxanne, a qualified counsellor and EMDR therapist passionate about helping people heal from trauma and emotional distress. I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your experiences and begin your journey towards recovery and resilience.
My Approach
I specialise in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps people process and release the emotional impact of traumatic or distressing memories. EMDR works by activating the brain’s natural healing ability, allowing you to move past painful experiences and reduce the emotional charge they carry. Whether you're struggling with PTSD, anxiety, low self-esteem, or the effects of childhood trauma, EMDR can help restore a sense of balance and control in your life.
I believe in meeting each person with compassion and respect, tailoring my approach to suit your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll work towards helping you feel stronger, more empowered, and more connected to yourself.
I believe that an individual has the ability to achieve what they want from therapy, and it is my role to support them in doing that. Building and maintaining a relationship with a client is hugely important and I put the individual at the centre of that relationship.
I work integratively which means I see a client as an individual and choose a therapeutic approach (or approaches) that will work for them and what they bring to counselling. It may be important to work with what has happened in childhood or have goals to work on specific issues. Or it may be that a client just needs a space where someone listens to them who isn’t involved in their day-to-day life. I offer all my clients a safe, non-judgemental space, providing empathy and respect.
