Roxanne - Director and Counsellor & EMDR Therapist

Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns of worry, fear, or low mood? Maybe past experiences are still affecting how you feel today, leaving you tense, fearful, or unsure how to move forward. I understand how heavy and confusing these feelings can be — and you don’t have to face them alone.

I’m an Accredited Counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have over seven years’ experience supporting people through anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, depression, anger, phobias, stress, and low mood. I’ve worked in schools with teenagers, in charities supporting those with life-changing diagnoses, and with agencies specialising in trauma, addictions, and eating disorders. I’ve also provided counselling for suicide prevention services and victim support.

I offer counselling and EMDR therapy, either combined or separately, depending on what will best support you. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, helping you feel understood, safe, and more in control. I work to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and ease the impact of triggers — supporting both mind and body in feeling grounded.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps make permanent changes in your brain. It works not only with memories but also with the feelings and body sensations connected to them. You don’t need to know every detail or recount every event — EMDR reaches deeply into negative self-beliefs and patterns that keep you feeling stuck, allowing you to process and release them. Over time, it can help you feel lighter, calmer, and able to move forward with greater confidence and clarity. EMDR can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, panic, phobias, depression, low self-esteem, and stress.

If you’re ready to start feeling calmer, safer, and more in control, you don’t have to do it alone. I would be honoured to support you as you begin your journey toward healing, self-understanding, and lasting change.

Tanya - Adult and Adolescent Counsellor

Tanya - Adult and Adolescent Counsellor

Hello, I’m Tanya, an integrative counsellor working with both adults and young people aged 11 and above. I offer a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever challenges you’re facing. My aim is to build a trusting and supportive relationship that empowers you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

I’m especially passionate about supporting the mental health of young people. The counselling space gives them a place to express their worries, feel heard, and develop tools to cope with life’s pressures. I have experience working with anxiety, exam stress, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, and in supporting neurodivergent young people.

In my work with adults, I have supported clients through a range of issues including depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, childhood trauma, low self-confidence, life transitions, physical health challenges, and relationship difficulties.

As an integrative counsellor, I adapt my approach to each individual, drawing on different methods to best support your unique needs. I believe that every client should be met with compassion, respect, and at their own pace.

Having experienced counselling myself, I understand that while the process can sometimes feel challenging, it can also be deeply rewarding and life-changing. I believe we’re all continuously growing and learning about ourselves, and it’s a privilege to walk alongside clients as they do the same.
